INTEGRITY, ACCOUNTABILITY AND TRUST.

The largest and most established company of its kind, Athena Construction Group is more than just a woman-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned, HUBZone contractor. It’s a group of experienced professionals who accept no substitutions and refuse to cut corners.

When she founded Athena Remodelers, Melissa Schneider applied the leadership and project management skills she had honed as an officer in the Marine Corps. Ms. Schneider knew, after completing more than 400 projects in five years, that Athena could accomplish more. For help, she recruited fellow Marine Amber Peebles, a veteran with a reputation for sharp business sense, impressive sales acumen, and savvy project management experience.

Ms. Peebles joined Athena as its president, and together, they transformed the company into Athena Construction Group, the nation’s premiere SDVOSB, SWaM, HUBZone construction company.

Soon, Athena had made itself indispensable to prestigious projects like the National Geospatial Agency, Ft. Belvoir Community Hospital, Walter Reed NMH, MILDEP, and the National Museum of the Marine Corps.

The quality of the work and the meticulousness of the process earned Athena Construction Group the designation of 2012 Government Contractor of the Year in the American Express Victory in Procurement Program, the elite status of Protégé to Hensel Phelps in the DoD Mentor-Protégé program.

Trust, integrity and accountability —they’re not just our guiding principles, they’re the law of Athena’s land. For more information about prime contracting, sub-contracting, or supplier capacity, or to discuss your project needs, contact our President, Amber Peebles.
